It is a challenge to review a tutoring session. After taking some with Residents Medical, First aid, Wyzant, and usmle.com tutors, this is by far the best I ever had. Alec listened and pinpointed the issue immediately, which allowed him to find the best way moving forward. Sometimes when you are in your shoes you do not see things clear. I look forward to continue to work with Alex and eventually reach my goal of a US residency.

I just had my first section with Dr. Palmerton. It was very different than I thought. He started out by asking about myself and life in general to get to know me and have a better understanding of my situation . I was not even aware of what was holding me down and he helped me to see what my strengths and weakness are and what I really have to work on. I have been studying on my own for over a year. I still don't feel confident. I think by this point I had to do something different. Studying alone worked for all my friends, everyone says UFAP (Uworld, First Aid and Pathoma), but it did not work for me. I was very hesitant to get help. But I came to the conclusion that I can't afford to FAIL the most important test of my life the USMLE step 1, specially as an IMG as I already have the odds against me. So I did a small research to make sure this company was legit and I "jumped". I really did not have big expectations because what could anyone could say that is new for someone studying for USMLE for a year? Nothing! so I thought! But I was so wrong. In fact Dr. Palmerton did not even mention any of those things (UFAP). He did tell me new things and guided me to a new direction a direction of hope a direction where is some light in the end the tunnel. Dr. Palmerton is a fresh breath of air, he is light and he took lot of weight off my shoulders that I didn't even know I was carrying. He is not a 3rd-4th year med student coming out of his shift looking under-slept trying to go over questions with you making you fell bad to even be there taking their time, like a lot of my friends tells me about THEIR tutors. He is present and he is involved. I am very happy that I found him and found this place my only regret is not doing this earlier.

Very productive session and I took away a lot of valuable lessons. I like the format of spending the first 5-10 minutes discussing my progress/mental aspect of this journey and then jumping into the meat and potatoes (i.e. Anki cards). I realized that working with you is like how an athlete works with a highly specialized trainer. You knows what it takes to achieve success but it's up to me to put in the consistent hard work everyday. My confidence has never been this high and I believe it's because of our sessions, WOOP, and being held accountable now. I figured out why my internet connection is so bad. The router is on the other side of our apartment and I have pretty old MacBook. Is it possible to plan for phone calls or even FaceTime? Looking forward to our next session. Thanks again for your time. Have a good week.

Dr. Palmerton is a nice person, in consultation he can provide very professional suggestions and study plans according your personal situation. I believe these suggestions can help me improve my score.

This course has changed my life. I am incredibly grateful to have a guide for life-long learning in medicine so I can be the best student and doctor I can be. I encourage others to take this review as a message--that you will see concrete improvement in your standardized test scores and in the way you think about medicine and learning in general.

Dr. P puts the fight back in me. I feel confident that when I'm ready, I'm going to score my full potential. And I won't be doing it with cram-to-get-points-quick methodologies, but with actual foot-forward learning, which now feels easier and surprisingly more enjoyable than anything I've done in the past two years of med school. This has been a truly life-changing experience for me, and hopefully soon, a career-changing move to bring me closer to lofty goals that finally seem possible.

Yousmle is making me a better student and I know it's going to make me a better doctor. I think more clearly, learn with greater ease, and study with greater certainty. I have more control over myself and my future because of Yousmle.

I really appreciate how Dr. Palmerton was flexible with his schedule to accommodate me despite having a full schedule. He keeps me accountable and is realistic with where I am and my current abilities and I need this- so thank you.
